I have read all the Harry Potter books, from 1 through 7 (Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-blood Prince, Deathly Hallows...yes, I did not need mighty Google to remember all the 7 books, I know them by heart.) and I can say that they have been my companions while growing up. I've never really owned a single book though, just finished the entire series borrowing from classmates and reading them in school. I did have e-book copies of them though, including "Quidditch Through the Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" (Bless my dead laptop).
And yes, I have watched all 7 movies so far--I'm quite excited with the eighth one coming pretty soon. This is the culmination of my childhood, I reckon I'd want to watch the last film wearing Hogwarts robes.
